First day :
- The battle of la Fière bridge, 2km west of Sainte-Mère-Eglise, “bloodiest small unit action in the history of the US Army in WWII”, a three day (6-9 of June) battle between the 82^nd US Airborne Divison and the german 91^st Luftlande Division
- Sainte-Mère Eglise main objective for the 82^nd Airborne on D-Day and its fantastic Airborne Museum,
- The german fortifications in the dunes of Varraville, where american troops should have landed
- Utah Beach and the landing of the 4^th US Infantry Division
- Brecourt Manor and the assault on the german gun position by Easy Co, 506^th PIR, 101^st Airborne, made famous by Stephen Ambrose’s Band Of Brothers
- Angoville-au-Plain and the heroic story of BobWright and Kenneth Moore, two medics in the midth of battle
- Dead Man’s Corner, Purple Heart Lane and the 101^st Airborne assault on Carentan
Second Day :
- The La Cambes German Cemetery, largest german cemetery in Normandy
- The german coastal gun battery at Pointe-du-Hoc, the heroic cliff assault of the 2^nd Ranger Battalion
- Several stops on Omaha Beach arround the epic struggle of the 1^st and 29^th US infantry division to get off the beach
- The Overlord Museum in Colleville-sur-Mer, one of the most impressive private collection in Normandy
- Normandy American Cemetery in Colleville-sur-Mer
